Here is the September 2011 newsletter. AS many are aware we publish two issues a year for “snail mail” distribution, with electronic versions going to folks who have subscribed to our listserv. We hope that more members will opt-in to the listserv. This saves the Chapter some money that can be used for conservation related expenditiures and/or chapter functions. Please consider “joining” . Instructions are included in the newsletter.
Also, keep checking this site for updates and additions to planned events, etc.

CLARIFICATION:
This posting includes a revision to the “snail mail” and listserv versions of the newsletter. It was originally reported, from dsicussions with store personnel, that the two local Sports Authoirity stores had eliminated their fishing sections. I stopped by the Gaithersburg store over the weekend of 9/17 and saw that they redid their section and still have fishing equipment available. Store personnel noted that the plan is still to eliminate fishing equipment, but they are not sure when that will be.
