PROGRAM:  FLY-TYING 

PRESENTER:  Matt Rosenthal, proprietor of the new “Beaver Creek Fly Shop” who will show us how to tie 2-3 flies that are effective on Beaver Creek.

ALSO: DON’T FORGET TO RENEW YOUR TU MEMBERSHIP IF IS HAS EXPIRED OR WILL SO IN THE NEAR TERM, AND DON’T FORGET TO GET YOUR 2011 FISHING LICENSE AND TROUT STAMP. THE NEW YEAR IS UPON US!

The National TU office has asked all TU chapters to update their chapter bylaws, to bring them in line with recent changes to the National bylaws.  Your Board has been working on this and will present amended Chapter bylaws at the February 2, 2011 Chapter meeting, so that we can all vote on them.  This is an important process, so please make an extra effort to attend this meeting, where we will also elect new officers and Board members.

Following the brief business meeting, which starts at 8:00 pm, we will view a demonstration on fly tying, from an area expert.  We encourage you to bring your fly tying gear and tie along with the expert.  Watch this site for details!

This is an excellent time to attend one of our program meetings, if you are new to the Chapter or have been a member and have not yet been to one of our meetings.  Make this one of your New Year’s resolutions.  Hope to see you there!
